Sometimes you want to create hunts that can be reused. Teachers, for example, may want to create a lesson they can use with multiple classes over the years, or may want to share their lessons with other teachers.
Or perhaps you want to create a clue in a place where shadows, etc. make it difficult to get a good image subject.
For these kinds of situations, you can create clues that match QR codes rather than images. You specify each clue as a QR code clue, then print out a sheet of QR codes that you distribute as you wish.
To do so, begin by adding a clue as your normally would. When the camera appears, instead of taking a picture, tap Change Clue Type in the upper right corner of the screen, then tap Generate a QR code. After choosing what to do about location, your QR code will automatically be generated.
To print out your QR codes, first, save your hunt. Then from the Hunt Overview screen, tap Share, and the following screen should appear:
Here you can select which materials you want to print (in this case QR Codes for Clues), and how you want to print them (directly to an Airprint printer, by sending a PDF to yourself via email, or by saving a PDF to Dropbox).
For QR codes, select the format you want them printed. We support the standard Avery label sizes, and you can see how many will be printed on a sheet (rows X columns).
